Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ledger (the "Service"), operated by Knobugsoft LLC ("we", "us", "our"), available at mortagefvcalculator.com. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use paid features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. The Service
Ledger provides mortgage, future-value, NPV, IRR and related financial calculators. All output is informational and educational only and is not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. You should verify any figure with a qualified professional before making a financial decision.
3. Ledger Pro subscriptions
Ledger Pro is a paid subscription (Monthly or Annual) that unlocks features such as PDF/Excel export, saved scenarios, and dark mode. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Account page or the Paddle-hosted billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, sales tax/VAT, invoicing and fraud checks. Their terms also apply to the payment portion of your transaction.
4. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In summary: full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission.
- Interfere with the Service, bypass rate limits, or attempt to access another user's account.
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Scrape or bulk-download content beyond normal browser use.
6. Intellectual property
Ledger, its brand, and all software are owned by Knobugsoft LLC. You retain ownership of any inputs and calculations you create. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate the Service for you.
7. Third-party services & embeds
The Service may embed or link to third-party sites (e.g. lender partners, Paddle, analytics providers). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CALCULATIONS ARE ERROR-FREE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knobugsoft LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) US $50.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
